The Office of Grants & Research (OGR) is the university's central research administrative unit which provides pre and post-award support to staff engaged in grants and sponsored research projects. The Office supports staff to ensure the overall effective coordination of grants and research projects using the appropriate systems, policies and processes.
Our goal is to help build a vibrant research enterprise through the procurement of external funds, good stewardship, valuable collaborations and an outstanding reputation.
OGR supports researchers and administrators in developing and submitting grant proposals as well as in successfully managing awarded grants and projects. The office works with research administrative staff in all the Colleges to coordinate the development, implementation and management of research projects in the university. OGR also facilitates training and standardizing of guidelines and procedures on managing research projects across the university.
