Gap Fund: single-step support for medical product development
The Office of Grants and Research (OGR), KNUST, invites eligible researchers to apply for funding under the Gap Fund: Single-Step Support for Medical Product Development programme.
The programme, funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC), supports projects aimed at generating critical data to build confidence in the development of new or repurposed medicines, medical devices, diagnostic tests, or other medical interventions.

General Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be affiliated with an academic institution, government/public sector organization, or non-profit organization

Propose a project with a clear focus on medical product development

Demonstrate capability to manage the proposed research project and meet reporting requirements

The following are not eligible for funding:

Projects without a clear translational or product development focus
