The Office of Grants and Research wishes to inform the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) community of a strategic capacity-building initiative: the AI Compute Faculty Development Plan.
This joint program by the African Union–African Scientific Research and Innovation Council (AU–ASRIC), the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI), and Peking University aims to build sustainable AI teaching capacity across Africa. It empowers university faculty as "seed teachers" to gain advanced expertise in AI compute systems and establish high-quality, practical AI education programs at their home institutions.
