HSA Research, Project & Travel Grants
The Office of Grants and Research (OGR), KNUST invites eligible researchers and practitioners to apply for funding from the Humane Slaughter Association (HSA).
This funding opportunity supports research and practical projects aimed at improving the welfare of livestock animals during transport, marketing, slaughter, or emergency killing.
About the Grant
The HSA provides grants for activities that:

Applicants from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply (subject to any international restrictions).

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to carry out a project that improves or advances understanding of food animal welfare beyond the farm gate.

Funding Amount
Recent grants have ranged from £750 to £10,000, depending on project scope and scale.
