Setting up OGR is an important step that will help advance research – GCUC Chancellor

The Chancellor of the Garden City University College (GCUC), Dr. Albert Acquah has lauded KNUST for the establishment of the Office of Grants and Research (OGR), and described it as an important step that will help advance research at the University.

He made this comment when he paid a working visit to OGR.The purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the activities of the office and ascertain how the office supports the research enterprise of the university. He interacted with the staff and shared some of the experiences of GCUC. He noted that as an affiliate institution of KNUST, GCUC continues to be mentored by this institution in all areas.

He added that GCUC will continue to tap the necessary knowledge and experience from KNUST as it works towards becoming a world renowned center of research and scholarship, learning and teaching, intellectual creativity and innovation
